HeliCoil Inserts are a great way to repair stripped or damaged standard binding mounts. They are also great for beefing up a mount if you have had previous problems with binding screws ripping out. These inserts should not be used for swapping bindings between skis. A permanent sealed mount will allow you to fix and replace damaged threads and re-use the hole location. These inserts work with standard alpine mounting screws, the screws that come with your binding or for sale here.
Not for use with Binding Freedom Inserts or Machine Screws.
Make sure to use binding hole glue or an epoxy to seal the hole and prevent moisture from entering the core of the ski.
