Threaded inserts for skis - For use with any of our flat head or low head screws. The inserts require a drill bit depth of 9.5mm or 9mm minimum. Binding Freedom inserts are not compatible with standard alpine mounting screws.

Before installation spray the inserts with a de-greaser and wipe clean. Any grease or oil left on the inserts from the machining process could interfere with the epoxy. Never use Loc-Tite with inserts, only use Vibra-Tite offered here.

Excellent product, 2nd order, quality is consistent

I previously purchased 100 inserts for past ski projects last season, and I had to buy more for upcoming projects. The quality and consistency is top notch. The more recent batch seemed to have gone through a cleaning process. I always soak them in acetone and dry before using them, and the most recent order had no shavings or residue that I could see compared to the first order. When I run out of this batch of inserts I will order again from here.

Simple money and time saver

Changing my AT bindings out between rock skis in the fall, powder skis for mid-winter, and lighter skinny skis for spring backcountry gave me two choices: buy these or buy two more sets of bindings. Binding Freedom inserts will work perfectly for anyone who has this problem, and they're fairly simple to install yourself as long as you take your time and you're careful. I'll be recommending these to all of my friends!
